From my blog . . .

I’m a huge supporter of sustainable practices.

I believe our planet deserves to be taken care of, and I operate my business in as environmentally-friendly a way as possible!

I print as little as possible, and when I do I try to use recyclable paper, and print double-sided.

I turn off my computer when it isn’t in use, and unplug my other devices such as my wifi and computer monitor.

I drink organic, fair trade coffee from a reusable mug. I usually make it myself.

Because I live in such a small city, I’m able to walk or cycle to meet my clients just about anywhere in town.

I work out of my own home, which means my business footprint and my living footprint share a lot of real estate.

I live a chemical-free lifestyle. That includes all household and personal-care products.

However, if you’re […]

So what’s the difference, and why should we care?

A raster (or bitmap) image is made of thousands of little squares, or pixels.  The best example of this is a photograph.  Because each pixel has been assigned it’s own colour value, and there are millions of them in an image, raster images are rich in detail, which mimics realism.  They are […]
